For nearly 30 years, Anthony J. Rothman has dedicated his career to the representation of consumers and business owners in bankruptcy and debt relief matters. Mr. Rothman has extensive experience in nearly every aspect of bankruptcy, including Chapter 11 business reorganizations, individual Chapter 7 11 and 13 cases, and matters involving complex litigation. Mr. Rothman also has expertise in the areas of commercial banking and business disputes and litigation. His clients include individuals, banks and companies.
Mr. Rothman received his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Marymount University and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. Following law school, Mr. Rothman served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Alan M. Ahart, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. Following his clerkship, Mr. Rothman was an associate attorney with a large multinational law firm, representing both debtors and creditors in complex bankruptcy litigation matters.
Mr. Rothman is admitted to practice in the State of California, and served as a Judge Pro Tem in Los Angeles County from 1996-2004.
Mr. Rothman is active in the community. He has a love of food and travel, travelling to numerous countries and cities, and been to many of the top restaurants in the world. He enjoys working out and doing crossfit. He is an avid fan of both films and sports, particularly the UCLA Bruins and University of Michigan Wolverines.
